The Clam Season grand finale concert was packed with more than a thousand people

The High Summer Concert was held last night, which marked the grand finale of Jinhu Beach Clam Season. The Jinhu Township Office invited artists such as Elvis Tian, Rose Liu, Jenny Liang, GBOYSWAG, and Shin to perform a number of popular songs. Large magic shows were also presented between music performances. The concert attracted more than a thousand people, which made the Chenggong Estuary Square packed with people. The staff of the Township Office also distributed inflated glow sticks to the audience so that they could wave the sticks while enjoying the music performances during the concert.

The High Summer Concert was held in the Chenggong Estuary Square at 7 last night. Hosted by Mei Tung-Sheng, the concert began with the performance of Elvis Tian, followed by the performances of Rose Liu, Jenny Liang, and GBOYSWAG. Many of their fans followed them to Kinmen from Taiwan or China. Some fans even arrived at the venue with self-made posters and illuminated signs in the afternoon to secure a good spot, so as to watch their idols perform at a close distance. The last artist to perform was Shin, the lead singer of the band Shin. He appeared on the stage around 9:30 p.m. and performed a number of well-known songs, such as A Thousand Years of Love, Hai Kuo Tian Kong, Tian Gao Di Hou, Yi Liao Bai Liao, and I Will Love Even If I Die, which hyped up the atmosphere at the venue.

Jinhu Beach Clam Season came to an end yesterday. The next event will be the 2018 Quemoy International Music Festival at Houhu, Jinning. Four concerts with different themes will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. on July 25th, July 28th, August 1st, and August 4th. Renowned artists such as Jeannie Hsieh, Chan Ya-Wen, Rachel Liang, and Kimberley Chen will be invited to Kinmen to celebrate happy summertime with their performances.
