Thirty Participants Complete Training of the Digital Media Talent Camp

To develop talent in the local digital media industry, Kinmen County Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committee organized a talent camp with Ming Chuan University at Ming Chuan University from the 26th to 28th. The event drew to an end successfully. All participants learned diligently and found this event rewarding.
A total of 30 participants attended this training course to learn from He Tian-Yuan, a director who has 25 years of experience in animation. Director He once worked for Shanghai Workshop of Hong Ying, Disney Taipei and Yama Animation as a director. The course covered role conception, flipbook animation design, and computer animation design.
Deputy Director of Ming Chuan University Kinmen Campus, Chen Ren-Wei, indicated that the participants in this training course were young and learned well, especially in digital painting. Ming Chuan University will continue to work with Kinmen County Government to organize more training courses in Kinmen.
Executive Secretary of Kinmen County Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committee, Wang Jhong-Cheng, indicated that the School of Design, Ming Chuan University is well-known nationwide, and its Department of Digital Media Design focuses on the hottest fields nowadays, such as AR, VR, and animation. Planned by Director of Ming Chuan University Kinmen Campus Fan Jhong-Yuan, the event invited experienced He Tian-Yuan to instruct participants in basic 2D animation skills, so as to develop talent in animation design.
According to Jhang Jhe-Yi, one of the participants, he learned from Instructor He that producing an animation is complicated and time-consuming and that the audience gets to understand the efforts made by the production staff when watching an animation. With hands-on practice, Jhang realized the difficulty in producing an animation and hoped that this event could be organized frequently in Kinmen, so as to give an opportunity to more people who are interested in digital media design to develop more skills and advance.
Instructor He especially thanked Kinmen County Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committee for organizing this event, so that he could instruct citizens in Kinmen in digital media design. He hoped to teach different types of courses or advanced courses on digital media in Kinmen in the future, and he was very happy to see this event close successfully.
